SAN DIEGO WEDDING LOCATION
Wedding Location
Finding a wedding location in San Diego isn’t very hard to start
with. What better place than this warm, attractive city can one find to
be wed in? The choices are almost endless. Clearly outdoor weddings are
no problem here. But, the charm of a church wedding can be just as compelling.
Aside from some of the most beautiful churches in California to choose
from, San Diego also has many other locations that would be perfect for
that sacred exchange of vows. Consider one of the beautiful hotels, such
as the Coronado Marriott, or Darlington House, where inside lie many spacious
halls for hosting a wedding.
San Diego Beach Wedding
If having a wedding inside sounds too stifling, consider having it on the
beach. Imagine, the bride in a flowing white dress accompanied by ocean
sprayed winds that cools and refreshes. The groom standing with feet planted
in the sand amidst the wanes breaking against the shore. Many of the locations
in San Diego would fit perfectly in the ideal wedding. Some such places
as La Jolla Cove or Harbor Island would offer an excellent setting. Seating
would be exotic in rows of chairs facing the ocean while the minister faced
away from it. A beach wedding could also be a cheap location for such an
event.
San Diego Wedding Reception
 Wedding
receptions can be a lot of fun and full of excitement, provided the right
place is chosen. From halls to homes, wedding receptions can be versatile.
Depending on what type of celebration is intended, the venue will vary.
If a more boisterous and wild time is expected, than obviously a large
hall with a good DJ is necessary. However, if a more solemn or sophisticated
reception is desired, then perhaps something like a ballroom would be
more appropriate. Either style can be accomplished at a residence or someone’s
home, but the scale of the event will ultimately suffer. But, this is
fine if that is what has been planned. It all is reliant on how many guests
are expected and what type of reception is desired.
